Concrete coatings

Driveway & Walkway Coatings in Springfield, MO

Freeze-thaw tough coatings that seal spalling concrete, shrug off road salt, and lift the curb appeal of the whole house.

A driveway is the first thing anyone sees, and it's the concrete that takes the worst of a Missouri winter. Road salt tracked off tires soaks into the pores, water freezes inside them, and the surface flakes away one layer at a time. Once spalling starts it accelerates.

Coating a driveway or walkway seals the pores so salt and water can't get in. We grind the surface, repair the existing spalls and cracks, and install a polyurea system with a textured, UV-stable topcoat rated for vehicle traffic and direct sun.

Beyond protection, it's the highest-visibility upgrade available for the money. A uniform, clean driveway and matching walkway make an older house read as maintained the moment someone pulls up.

What you get

Questions

Frequently asked

Can you coat a driveway that's already spalling?

Yes — that's one of the most common reasons people call. We grind off the loose surface, rebuild the damaged areas, then coat. Severely heaved or structurally cracked slabs are the exception and we'll say so up front.

Will it hold up to snow plows and shovels?

It handles normal shoveling and snow blowers. We recommend a plastic-edge blade rather than dragging steel across any finished surface.

How soon can I drive on it?

Typically 24 hours after the topcoat goes down.

Does it work on asphalt?

No — these systems bond to concrete. Concrete driveways, aprons, walkways, steps and garage approaches only.

Ready for a floor you stop apologizing for?

Free on-site measurement and a firm price — no pressure, no gimmicks. Most residential floors are installed in a single day.
