Patio & Pool Deck Coating in Springfield, MO

UV-stable outdoor coatings that add real slip resistance, stay cooler underfoot, and stop the winter spalling.

Patio & Pool Deck Coating for Springfield homes and shops

Springfield is where we're based, so most jobs inside the city are scheduled within a week and finished in a single day.

Patios and pool decks get a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat so they never amber or chalk in the sun, plus a slip-resistant texture keyed to bare feet or shoes. It seals the freeze-thaw spalling that ruins a broom-finished slab and keeps lighter colors cooler underfoot.

Springfield garages run the full range — 1950s slabs in Rountree and Phelps Grove that have spalled and been painted twice, and brand-new builds off Republic Road and out by James River Freeway with slick, power-troweled concrete that nothing wants to stick to. Both need the same first step: diamond grinding to open the surface profile so the coating bonds to the slab instead of sitting on top of it.

Why Springfield slabs need it

  • Greene County slabs from the 1950s through new construction
  • Salt and brine protection for winter driving off I-44 and US-65
  • Same-week scheduling — we're local, not driving in from Kansas City

What you get

  • UV stable — no yellowing, chalking or fading
  • Slip-resistant textures sized for bare feet or shoes
  • Lighter colors run cooler than dark stamped concrete
  • Seals spalled and pitted concrete instead of replacing it
  • Resists freeze-thaw damage and de-icing salt
  • Works on patios, pool decks, porches, steps and walkways

Common questions

Will an outdoor coating fade in the sun?
Not with a polyaspartic topcoat. Standard epoxy yellows outdoors within a year; polyaspartic is UV stable and holds its color.
Is it safe around a pool?
Yes. We build in slip resistance appropriate for wet bare feet, and lighter color choices stay noticeably cooler than dark concrete or pavers.
My patio is already cracked and flaking. Can it be saved?
Usually. We grind off the loose material, repair spalls and cracks, and coat over the repaired surface. If the slab is structurally failing we'll tell you before quoting.
What's the best time of year to coat a patio?
Spring through fall is ideal, but polyurea installs in a wider temperature range than epoxy, so we can often work well into the shoulder seasons.
